The NSF is awarding rapid response grants to study the current El Niño, which is projected to be one of the strongest on record. Awards address effects on coral reefs, connections between rainfall and landslides, and signatures of past El Niños in ice caps. Learn more.
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) released a new online training module, “Understanding Climate Change Impacts on Water Resources.” The 45-minute training module is intended to increase water resource professionals’ understanding of the causes of climate change, its potential impacts on water resources.
